Summer Reading 2016 - Reading is Magical
The Summer Reading program has served hundreds of thousands of children in and around the Louisville community for more than 50 years. It is the single longest-running and largest program undertaken by the Louisville Free Public Library and takes place at all 18 library branch locations, and bookmobile outreach sites. In 2015, more than 60,500 children and teens participated in the program.
This year, you can register online for the Summer Reading program, which also includes registration for the city's Cultural Pass program. Click here to sign up! We're also excited to partner with 90.5 WUOL for their Summer Listening series.
The Summer Reading program is made possible by The Library Foundation with the support of donors like you. Recognize your favorite reader by making a donation in his or her honor to support Summer Reading and we'll send a personalized certificate! You can donate online here (be sure to note that it is a Summer Reading gift and the child's name), or contact Tracy Green.
