We’re excited to announce that Night at the Library is back.
Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Northeast Regional Library for an unforgettable evening in support of the Louisville Free Public Library.
This year’s theme, From Page to Plate, celebrates the library as a vibrant third place for learning, creativity, and connection. Inspired by LFPL’s inaugural Yes, Chef! Chef-in-Residence Program, the evening will explore how food and storytelling bring people together and strengthen community.
Guests will enjoy a roving, buffet-style dinner among the stacks, live chef demonstrations, and interactive experiences featuring talented chefs from the Yes, Chef! residency cohort. The evening will also include a special conversation with James Beard Award-winning chef and author JJ Johnson.
We hope you’ll join us for a one-of-a-kind night where books, culture, and cuisine come together—all in support of the library.
