New Bookmobile Joins the LFPL Fleet

LOUISVILLE (September 12, 2025) – Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg, Library Interim Executive Director Barbara Sexton Smith, and Metro Councilwoman Josie Raymond, joined Louisville Free Public Library outreach staff today at Active Day of Watterson Park Adult Day Care to unveil the Library’s new bookmobile. This custom-designed mobile library will deliver books and other materials to adults in care facilities, housing communities, shelters, and other areas with limited access. In addition, Library staff plan to visit parks, shopping centers, community events, and more to help deliver library services to more people across Jefferson County.
